Heartsong Hypnotherapy Center, Dallas, TX. After maintaining a clinical practice in hypnosis and hypnotherapy since 1986, Bette Epstein founded Heartsong Hypnotherapy Training Center in 1990 as an adult career school and the course was at that time approved by Texas Education Agency. The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners approves the center course work and Ms. Epstein is an examiner for this organization. Upon completion of the five hundred-hour hypnotherapy training program, students are eligible for testing for membership in ACHE. The Heartsong Center for Change is not only the setting for the hypnotherapy school, but is a center for a number of hypnosis, spiritual and metaphysical gatherings. Experts in many fields of alternative and complementary medicine come here to lecture and present new as well as ancient modalities of healing and empowerment for mental health, spiritual strengthening and self-improvement. Help is available for grief and bereavement counseling, improving self-confidence, post traumatic stress disorder, and mental health concerns, as well as fears, phobias, obsessions, body image issues and addictions. . As you can see from the biography on Bette Epstein, she is trained in, and practices, many forms of mind-body work. Her client work in hypnotherapy is as varied as there are human conditions; her desire is to continue creating new and more powerful methods of using hypnosis in her own work and to train the best hypnotists in the world. Anyone interested in working with Bette as a client must first go through a telephone interview with her to determine if she is a good match for that person. She is direct, confrontational and will not see a client for more than five sessions unless she feels the client is benefiting greatly from the work and doing the "homework" which Bette will require.
